ABOUT THE WOLVERINES:

The Warwick Wolverines formed in Winter 2010 as the UK’s first women’s university flag football team.

Having played a number of exhibition matches in 2010/11 against local rivals Coventry to showcase their talent, the Wolverines will be using the 11/12 season to develop and consolidate their skills, and continue to forge links with teams across the country in the newly emerging flag football community.

The Wolverines were instrumental in the Warwick Wolves winning the inaugural Warwick Volunteers Community Cup, and look forward to working closely with both the players and the committee of the contact team over the coming years.
